The Ask
A kitchen that could finally function like the true center of their home. One that is more open, better organized, and designed for both everyday rhythm and effortless entertaining. The ask required a bold relocation of the kitchen to a new side of the house to unlock a larger island, clearer zoning, and dedicated destinations for coffee and bar service, all while maintaining clean sightlines, seamless circulation, and a timeless blend of modern refinement with traditional warmth.
The Result
A beautifully reimagined kitchen that anchors the main level with clarity, purpose, and elevated detail. A generous island and connected casual dining area create a natural gathering hub, while the dedicated coffee station and separate bar keep daily routines and entertaining needs from competing for the same space. Slim shaker cabinetry, Taj Mahal quartzite, and warm white oak flooring establish a tailored, enduring palette, and the striking paneled wall—cleverly concealing the pantry, powder bath, and dining access—keeps the space visually calm, organized, and architecturally resolved.
